Description
Shape Strategy. Accelerate Growth. Drive Market Leadership. Reporting to the Solenis LLC (Light Industrial Solutions) Water Treatment Business Unit, this is a high-impact strategic leadership role focused on driving profitable growth, market expansion, and long-term business value across the NCH ChemAqua brand, now part of Solenis.
The successful candidate will play a pivotal role in shaping business unit strategy, identifying new growth opportunities, supporting M&A initiatives, and translating strategic priorities into actionable regional and sector plans.
This position is ideal for an experienced B2B marketing and strategy professional with a strong commercial mindset, exceptional analytical capability, and a passion for delivering growth in an international matrixed environment. This will be working with our ChemAqua brand, so knowledge of the water treatment industry and experience of marketing in this industry is highly preferred.
This is a remote position with a flexible global location, with global travel expected.

- Support the development and ongoing refinement of the Business Unit strategy.
- Lead the development of selected sector strategies aligned with business growth objectives.
- Drive and/or support regional strategy activation initiatives, including the Archetype Model, Growth Navigator, and Sector Playbooks.
- Define and prioritize sectors and sub-sectors at country, regional, and global levels.
- Support Executive, Regional Vice President (RVP), and Global Sector Account (GSA) leadership calls to align stakeholders and monitor strategy execution.
- Lead Voice of Customer (VOC) and blueprinting activities for emerging adjacent markets and technologies.
- Support M&A strategy development by identifying and evaluating external growth opportunities, including mergers and acquisitions.
- Lead business capability enhancement and growth initiatives across the Business Unit.
- Own the collection, validation, and analysis of accredited market data, including Serviceable Addressable Market (SAM) and market growth (CAGR) metrics.
- Develop sector-level value propositions to support market positioning and business development efforts.
- Lead the development of the company narrative for IPO readiness and investor relations activities.

Skills, Knowledge And Expertise
- Ideally 10 years innovation/product development/marketing function experience at regional or global level, desirable previous experience at country level in the water treatment or light industrial spaces.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving capabilities, with the ability to translate complex data into actionable insights.
- Experience in the water treatment and/or light industrial industries would be highly advantageous.
- Customer-centric mindset, with a deep interest in understanding market and customer needs.
- Outstanding communication and presentation skills.
- Structured, results-oriented approach to project management and execution.
- Fluent English is essential; additional major regional languages would be an advantage.
