Description

Solenis NCH is seeking a strategic leader to oversee the global industrial parts cleaning and consumables business across multiple sectors. Reporting to the VP of Strategic Marketing Industrial and Consumer, this position will work in close partnership with the Commercial Business President for Industrial Parts Cleaning to define and implement long-term growth strategies.

The successful candidate will be adept at identifying customer needs, developing and executing growth initiatives, and ensuring global strategic alignment. This role requires deep expertise in international parts cleaning market value drivers, collaboration with regional marketing and commercial teams to drive effective campaigns and customer acquisition, and coordination with R&D and Innovation to build a pipeline of differentiated, customer-centric products and services.

This will be a remote first position with travel international travel expected for 20-30% of the time, covering relationships with local teams, customer visits, and understanding marketing dynamics in the field.

Key Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with the President of parts cleaning to introduce new concepts, business models and products to the market and jointly develop a comprehensive growth roadmap.
  • Develop and implement the global Parts Cleaning and Consumables Strategy, prioritizing sector segments
  • Support regional activation and execution by collaborating with Regional Marketing and Corporate Accounts, and Executive Sales Leadership to create marketing plans and sector playbooks
  • Define priority sectors and segments at country, regional, and global level
  • Present and align strategy execution with executives, regional vice presidents, and strategic account teams
  • Lead voice-of-customer initiatives and blueprinting for existing, new markets and technologies
  • Manage accredited market data and ensure alignment across regions
  • Analyze market trends and customer insights to identify growth opportunities and coordinate with R&D and Innovation to address market gaps
  • Create sector value propositions, incorporating regional nuances
  • Oversee strategic outputs, including templates, presentations, and customer journey analyses
  • Identify, build and present strategic investment business cases that could include partnerships, M&A, and other initiatives that unlock outsized growth

Skills, Knowledge and Expertise

  • Bachelor’s Degree in technical, engineering, or business-related field. MBA a plus
  • 10+ years of professional work experience in Industrial and/or Parts Cleaning Markets
  • B2B Experience in a multinational environment
  • Strong collaborator and comfortable with interaction across multiple organizational levels
  • English at fluent/high level + one of the major languages in the region as a plus
  • Analytical skills and structured way of working
  • Highly customer focused (both internal and external) and ideally a good understanding of the sector / industry
  • Strategic and Growth Mindset
