Help shape the future of one of the world’s leading hospitality companies.

Why this role is different

This isn’t a traditional graduate analyst role.

From day one, you’ll support projects and priorities that matter to our CEO and Executive Committee, helping shape decisions that influence the future direction of IHG. You’ll work across global regions including the Americas, EMEAA and Greater China, partnering with stakeholders from a wide range of functions and supporting strategic initiatives that span growth, sustainability, commercial performance and long-term value creation.

You’ll gain exceptional exposure to senior leaders and learn how strategy is developed, tested and executed within a truly global organisation.

What you’ll do

  • Support strategic priorities and high-impact projects sponsored by the CEO and Executive Committee.
  • Gather, analyse and interpret internal and external data to help answer critical business questions.
  • Create high-quality materials and presentations for senior leadership audiences, including Executive Committee discussions.
  • Contribute to strategy projects covering areas such as market growth, sustainability, channels and business performance.
  • Assist with annual strategic planning, investment discussions and enterprise-wide performance reviews.
  • Support competitor and market analysis, helping identify key trends, opportunities and threats across the hospitality sector.
  • Work with regional and functional leaders to develop fact-based recommendations and business cases.
  • Contribute to complex strategic initiatives, including corporate development and M&A activity where appropriate.

What’s in it for you?

  • Direct exposure to CEO and Executive Committee priorities working in a wider strategy team of former top-tier consultants.
  • Experience working on enterprise-wide strategic initiatives.
  • Opportunities to collaborate with colleagues across global regions and functions.
  • Mentorship from experienced strategy leaders and professionals.
  • The chance to build a broad understanding of one of the world’s largest hospitality businesses.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
