Global Strategy Manager – IVP Commercial

What We Need

Job Title: Global Strategy Manager Location: London, Victoria Team: International Vehicle Payments (IVP), Corpay

Corpay is seeking a pivotal and dynamic Global Strategy Manager to drive organic and inorganic growth across our International Vehicle Payments (IVP) division. This is a senior leadership role based at our office in Vincent Square, London.


## About the Role

Your core responsibility lies in shaping the company’s future success by:

  • Assessing emerging market opportunities
  • Conceptualizing transformative ideas with compelling strategic reasoning
  • Pitching actionable plans to senior stakeholders (Chief Commercial Officer, IVP, and beyond)
  • Balancing macroeconomic foresight with tactically implementable strategies
  • Ensuring financial and numerate-driven decision-making through detailed cost-benefit analyses and risk quantification

You will thrive under pressure, bridging the gap between visionary strategy and operational execution while collaborating cross-functionally with European and UK teams.


## Responsibilities

Your scope will cover critical areas to maximise IVP’s growth, competitiveness, and profitability. Core duties include:

Strategic Planning & Development

  • Lead corporate strategic planning, annual budgets, and target setting
  • Conduct comprehensive market research to identify opportunities, threats, and trends
  • Work with executive leadership to define and align strategic priorities
  • Design robust business models and scenario-analysis frameworks for decision-making

Execution & Performance Oversight

  • Own implementation of high-impact strategic initiatives and projects
  • Develop KPIs & monitoring systems to track performance against goals
  • Provide regular updates to the executive team via quantitative analyses

Market Analysis, Partnerships & M&A

  • Monitor competitor activities and industry shifts
  • Scout emerging markets for potential acquisitions or partnerships
  • Drive competitive intelligence strategies to inform strategic moves

Collaboration & Stakeholder Management

  • Facilitate cross-functional alignment between marketing, operations, and sales
  • Lead discussions in strategy-focused sessions to drive innovation
  • Build relationships with external investors, partners, and key clients to advance objectives

## Requirements & Qualifications

Education & Experience

✔ Hold a Bachelor’s degree (minimum) in:

  • Business
  • Finance
  • Economics
  • Management
  • MBA or Master’s preferred

✔ Proven experience in:

  • Corporate strategy roles (business strategy, competitive strategy, or analytics)
  • Consulting firms (strategy consulting firms,肜 developments)

✅ A strategic mind with the ability to:

  • See 100-year visions while maintaining detail-oriented precision
  • Evaluate market dynamics and business risks clearly
  • Develop data-driven propositions to influence stakeholders

❌ Must-not-miss traits:

  • Self-starter mentality – driven by ownership, not just supervision
  • Highly organised – management of multiple projects under tight deadlines
  • Collaborative yet independent – balancing solo work with team synergy
  • Numerate – proficient in quantitative reasoning (no "retail math" nonsense)
