JR039250

Morgan Stanley's Global Sustainability Office (GSO) aims to drive the growth of sustainable investing through ongoing development of products and solutions, economic analysis, thought leadership, and capacity building initiatives. Within GSO, the Global Sustainable Finance (GSF) team's work supports the development and creation of financial products and digital applications across Investment Banking, Sales & Trading, Investment Management, and Wealth Management divisions globally.

The GSF Products & Solutions team is seeking an Associate based in London to support research on sustainable finance topics and trends, development and maintenance of client-facing materials, and coordination of key internal projects, workstreams, and events for key business partners and clients. Successful candidates will have a demonstrated ability to conduct insightful research, perform quantitative analysis, and leverage this analysis to achieve impact with key partners and stakeholders. They will show a commitment to rigor while operating at pace and in a highly collaborative way across a global team. Prior experience in a sustainable finance role within a global financial services firm would be an advantage, but is not essential.

  • Build and maintain strong working relationships across Morgan Stanley's businesses, particularly those based in the EMEA region, and provide support at client meetings and events where required

  • Produce high-quality content that synthesizes analyses, trends, and opportunities/risks for a diverse set of client, investor, and executive-level audiences that reflect a range of sustainable finance concepts and approaches
  • Operate collaboratively as part of a global team in the US and Europe and support global projects and initiatives, including MENA and APAC
  • Engage, as necessary, with functions across the Firm including Legal, Risk, Compliance, Technology, Corporate Communications, and Marketing

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
