Role Description

This is a part-time unpaid volunteer role requiring approximately 6 hours per week. eMigr8 is at pre-seed stage and is growing its B2C audience of tech professionals exploring global talent visa pathways. You will work directly with Franklin, supporting community growth across eMigr8's channels by moderating discussions, engaging members, organising community events, and tracking engagement performance.

This role suits someone with experience in community management, social media, or online community building who enjoys creating a sense of belonging for a mission-driven audience.

Responsibilities

  • Moderate eMigr8 community channels, ensuring a positive and on-topic environment
  • Respond to member questions, comments, and discussions in a timely and helpful way
  • Plan and coordinate community events such as AMAs, live sessions, or member spotlights
  • Track engagement metrics and produce simple weekly reports on community health
  • Identify active members and contributors to recognise or involve further
  • Work with the content and marketing team to align community activity with campaigns

Qualifications

  • Experience with online community management, social media moderation, or audience engagement
  • Warm, clear communication style that translates well in written form
  • Comfortable using community platforms (WhatsApp, Discord, LinkedIn, or similar)
  • Organised enough to manage event logistics without losing the personal touch
  • Genuine interest in global talent mobility and helping people navigate international career moves
