DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES | About the role

The Global Vendor Director is a strategic commercial leadership role responsible for driving growth, profitability, partner development and market expansion across a global technology portfolio. Working within a matrix organisation, the role combines business planning, executive stakeholder management, performance governance and commercial execution to accelerate business results and strengthen strategic partnerships.

  • Define and execute the global business strategy to deliver revenue growth, gross profit and market expansion objectives.
  • Lead annual business planning, forecasting and performance management activities with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Build and maintain executive-level relationships with strategic partners, country leaders and senior decision-makers.
  • Lead and develop a team of commercial specialists, providing direction, coaching and performance management.
  • Drive partner recruitment, enablement, development and business growth initiatives across multiple markets.
  • Establish governance frameworks, business reviews and executive reporting to ensure alignment, accountability and successful execution of strategic objectives.

QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE | About you

The Ideal Global Vendor Director

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Sales, Marketing or a related field (MBA desirable).
  • Strong commercial and financial acumen with experience managing revenue and profitability targets.
  • Extensive experience in vendor management, alliances, channel leadership or business development within the technology sector.
  • Proven track record of developing strategic partnerships and executing successful go-to-market strategies.
  • Experience leading high-performing international teams within a matrix organisation.
  • Exceptional stakeholder management, negotiation and influencing skills with the ability to operate effectively at executive level.
  • Strategic thinker with a results-oriented mindset and strong execution capability.
  • Data-driven, collaborative and highly accountable, with the ability to drive change and business growth across multiple regions.
