Summary

The Global VP of Growth is responsible for leading Gozney’s global digital growth engine across Ecommerce, Performance Marketing, and Retention/CRM. Reporting to the Chief Marketing Officer (CMO), this role owns revenue growth across Direct to Consumer (DTC) and marketplace channels, while building the systems, operating rhythms, and team structures needed to scale globally.

This is a highly commercial leadership role suited to a growth operator who combines strategic thinking with strong execution capability, deep ecommerce expertise, and analytical rigor. The successful candidate will be highly collaborative, performance-driven, and comfortable operating in a fast-moving, high-growth environment.


Responsibilities

Revenue Growth & Commercial Performance

  • Own global digital revenue performance across DTC, Amazon, paid acquisition, and retention channels
  • Partner with Finance and Marketing leadership on annual growth targets, forecasting, and commercial planning
  • Identify growth opportunities and performance gaps across channels and markets
  • Lead trading cadence, promotional strategy, and seasonal commercial planning
  • Translate performance data into clear recommendations and executive-level insights

Ecommerce Leadership

  • Lead the global ecommerce function through the Global Head of Ecommerce
  • Drive conversion rate, highest average order value (AOV), site performance, UX quality, and global digital merchandising standards
  • Oversee CRO (Conversion Rate Optimisation) strategy and experimentation roadmap across all markets
  • Ensure alignment between traffic acquisition, landing page experience, and conversion performance
  • Support platform strategy, marketplace expansion, and global ecommerce operating model execution

Performance Marketing & Retention

  • Create and drive global acquisition performance benchmarks
  • Continually optimize cost per acquisition (CAC), ROAS, and paid contribution targets across all markets
  • Lead the development of a full-funnel growth approach across paid, owned, and earned channels
  • Create and oversee global strategy for maximizing LTV (Lifetime Value), repurchase rate, and customer engagement
  • Ensure retention, acquisition, and ecommerce teams operate from a shared customer and lifecycle strategy
  • Build scalable testing frameworks and performance reporting across all growth functions

Trading, Merchandising & Promotional Strategy

  • Own the global trading calendar including product launches, promotions, and key commercial moments across DTC and marketplace channels
  • Lead global promotional strategy, balancing revenue growth with margin protection
  • Oversee site merchandising to ensure products, collections, and campaigns are optimized for conversion and aligned to business priorities
  • Partner with Finance, Operations, and Marketing leadership on revenue forecasting and commercial planning, based on current trading performance and market trends

Team Leadership & Cross-Functional Partnership

  • Build and develop a high-performing global growth organisation
  • Manage and coach senior functional leaders across Ecommerce and Performance Marketing
  • Foster a culture of accountability, experimentation, continuous improvement, and commercial urgency
  • Partner closely with Brand, Creative, Product, Finance, Technology, and Regional teams to deliver growth objectives
  • Establish clear operating rhythms, including:
    • Weekly trading reviews
    • Monthly business reviews
    • Quarterly planning

Who We Are Looking For

Essential Requirements:

  • 12+ years of experience in growth, ecommerce, or performance marketing leadership roles
  • Proven experience owning multi-channel digital revenue outcomes within a DTC or consumer brand environment
  • Strong ecommerce expertise including Shopify, CRO, merchandising, and marketplace dynamics
  • Deep understanding of paid media, retention/CRM, and full-funnel customer acquisition strategies
  • Proven experience building and leading high-performing teams in fast-paced environments
  • Strong commercial acumen, with the ability to translate data into strategic action
  • Experience operating within global or hub-and-spoke organisations preferred
  • Executive-level communication and stakeholder management skills
  • Highly analytical, technologically fluent, and comfortable operating in data-driven environments
  • Passion for innovation, customer experience, premium products, and brand building
