Global Visual Merchandising Manager – Outlet

Reports to: Global Senior Visual Merchandising Director

Location: London

Roles & Responsibilities

Key Responsibilities

  • Build seasonal outlet directives by region, partnering with the Senior VM Director and Global Head of Buying for Outlets to deliver visual and commercial objectives. Responsibilities include zoning, niche displays, window product calendars, round table options, and accessory display guidelines to support seasonal launches.
  • Build and update the Outlet VM Handbook, including VM standards, tools, and 'how to' implementation guidance.
  • Manage monthly floor set moves across all EMEA outlet stores, working directly with store teams to ensure a consistent visual identity and execution of brand standards.
  • Lead cross-functional collaboration with Global and Regional Buying, Merchandising, and Retail teams to shape monthly and long-term outlet visual merchandising strategies, ensuring alignment to commercial needs, product priorities, and seasonal objectives.
  • Partner with regional VM teams on local outlet flagship VM displays to create monthly regional guidelines for rollout across stores, taking into consideration commercial needs.
  • Work with the Head of Outlets on product exit strategy by commercial needs and seasonal colorways.
  • Host seasonal training with the teams on VM standards and key focuses.
  • Review outlet VM planograms globally with regional VM teams to ensure a consistent visual presentation and commercial message.
  • Support the Senior VM Director on global outlet window production and execution.
  • Drive best-in-class execution through comp shops and regular visits to competitors, reviewing in-store displays and window schemes.

You’ll Need to Have:

  • Experienced Visual Merchandising professional with strong global and/or regional retail experience and a passion for delivering elevated customer experiences through best-in-class visual execution.
  • Proven ability to develop and implement seasonal VM directives, floorplans, display standards, and launch guidelines across multiple store formats while balancing brand and commercial objectives.
  • Strong understanding of outlet retail environments and the ability to translate commercial needs into clear and effective visual merchandising solutions.
  • Experience partnering cross-functionally with Retail, Buying, Merchandising, and Regional VM teams to drive consistent execution across markets.
  • Excellent project management, organizational, and communication skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
  • Highly proficient in creating visually engaging presentations, implementation tools, and VM guidelines, with strong knowledge of Adobe InDesign.
  • Detail-oriented with the ability to analyze store performance and continuously evolve visual standards and execution.
  • Flexible and collaborative approach, with willingness to travel where required to support store execution and regional initiatives.
  • Comfortable operating within a global structure and partnering closely with senior leadership.
