About the Role: Operations Manager – Compounding Facility
At Baxter, you’ll lead an essential team to drive efficiency, productivity, and profitability in our Compounding facility. This role requires strong operational leadership, process development, regulatory compliance, and team empowerment—all while maintaining high standards of quality and patient impact.
Responsibilities
Strategic Leadership
- Lead and motivate a team to achieve operational and strategic goals.
- Define, develop, and execute departmental budgets, ensuring fiscal accountability.
- Collaborate across cross-functional teams to optimize processes and improve performance.
Regulatory & Compliance Accountability
- Ensure day-to-day operations comply with procedures and regulations (e.g., EU GMP Annex 1 for aseptic environments).
- Serve as Production Approver, overseeing investigations, nonconformance reports, and auditor interactions.
- Develop and manage a regulatory-compliant capacity plan for the department.

Quality Improvement & Process Efficiency
- Identify and drive continuous improvement projects for cost savings, reliability, and quality.
- Review and approve SOPs, specifications, and documentation.
- Apply process improvement methodologies (e.g., Lean, Six Sigma) for operational excellence.
Team Development & Culture
- Develop a ** Training Plan** in collaboration with the training team to meet production goals.
- Build and lead the Team Leader group, fostering a succession plan.
- Foster a positive work culture, promoting collaboration, employee development, and ownership.
- Set and deliver performance standards through delegation, feedback, and accountability.
Financial & Performance Management
- Analyze key benchmarks and report findings in management reviews.
- Monitor and drive efficient operations, meeting deadlines amidst changing priorities.
Requirements
Experience & Skills
- 4–6 years’ experience in a leadership role, with a proven track record of results.
- Knowledge of regulatory standards (e.g., EU GMP, aseptic manufacturing) and applicable procedures & regulations.
- Strong experience in team supervision and process improvement (Lean/Six Sigma preferred).
- Bachelor’s degree (Life Science, Business, Engineering) or equivalent experience.
- Proficiency in financial analysis and budget management.
