Job Title: Activities Instructor

Position Overview:

We are seeking a passionate and confident Activity Instructor to join our team for the season. In this role, you will lead a range of exciting outdoor and indoor activities, including Archery, Axe Throwing, Laser Tag, Wall Climbing, Football, Body Zorbing, and more. As an Activities Instructor, you will ensure that every guest has an amazing and memorable experience, while maintaining safety, enthusiasm, and energy.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and facilitate a variety of activities, ensuring that guests have a safe, fun, and engaging experience.
  • Supervise and guide participants of all ages through activities like Archery, Axe Throwing, Laser Tag, Wall Climbing, Football, and Body Zorbing.
  • Maintain an energetic, positive, and confident presence, encouraging guests to participate and enjoy themselves.
  • Ensure all safety protocols and instructions are followed to provide a safe environment for participants.
  • Assist in setting up, preparing, and tidying up activity areas and equipment.
  • Work closely with other team members to ensure smooth operations and excellent guest service.
  • Be adaptable to changes in schedule and respond to the needs of the guests and the resort.
  • Provide a welcoming and friendly atmosphere to create the best experience for guests, helping to ensure their return.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

  • Passionate about delivering exceptional guest experiences in a fun, energetic environment.
  • Confident in leading groups of people, with excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to run a range of activities, with the enthusiasm and energy to motivate guests of all ages.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a dynamic team.
  • Flexible, with availability to work weekends, school holidays, and busy seasonal periods.
  • Previous experience in running or assisting with activities, ideally in a recreational or outdoor setting, is an advantage.
  • Ability to engage with people in a positive and enthusiastic manner.
  • Basic first aid knowledge or certification (or willingness to undergo training).
  • A love for the outdoors and adventure activities.

Desirable Qualifications:

  • Experience in leading outdoor or adventure activities (e.g., archery, climbing, zorbing) or the desire to learn and train.
  • Experience working in a customer-facing or hospitality role.
  • Training or certification in activity-specific areas (e.g., archery coaching, climbing instruction) or the desire to learn and train.

Schedule:

  • Holidays 20-35 hours approximately
