Overview
The Store Manager will lead day-to-day operations, driving sales performance, customer satisfaction, and store efficiency. Key responsibilities include:
- Setting sales targets
- Training staff in retail best practices
- Resolving customer/compliance issues
- Ensuring operational excellence (inventory, merchandising, health & safety)

Essential Functions
Leadership
- Foster team morale by recognising high performance, sales achievements, and detail orientation
- Assign financial goals and regular performance metrics
- Conduct performance-based evaluations
- Address staff/customer complaints or grievances
- Set a professional performance benchmark for all employees
Retail Sales
- Hit quarterly sales targets through coaching, training, and motivation
- Collaborate with Area Sales Manager and consumer marketing teams
- Implement promotions to drive revenue
- Prioritise customer satisfaction and guest experience
- Adhere to merchandising standards and create a high-energy sales floor
Staff Management
- Recruit and onboard a high-performing team
- Train on customer service standards
- Manage payroll, schedules, and budgeting
- Work with HR on employee relations, disciplinary actions, and terminations
Store Operations
- Conduct daily bank deposits
- Oversee inventory, loss prevention, and store maintenance
- Ensure compliance with health & safety regulations and mall guidelines
- Open/closes stores adhering to operational protocols
- Collect customer emails for marketing engagement
Requirements
Qualifications
✅ 1+ year of retail management/sales experience with proven success ✅ Ability to drive sales growth ✅ Strong problem-solving and customer focus ✅ Excellent organisation, leadership, and communication skills

Technical Competencies:
- POS system proficiency
- Microsoft Office (spreadsheets, emails)
- Basic math and financial tracking

Physical Demands & Work Environment
- Lifting/carrying up to 30 lbs, standing/walking for long periods
- Close/far vision, hearing, and hand dexterity required
- Shift work, weekends/evenings as needed
