Golf Course Machinery Engineer
Golf Course Machinery Engineer – Cornwall Depot
(Main Dealer of Premium Groundscare & Turf Machinery)
About the Role
Our client, a leading main dealer for premium groundscare and turf machinery, is recruiting an experienced and reliable Golf Course Machinery Engineer to join their Cornwall depot.
This is a varied, hands-on role with opportunities to work on a wide range of equipment both in the workshop and onsite at some of the South West’s most prestigious golf clubs and estates.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform diagnostics, service, and repairs on golf course and groundscare machinery, both in-house and on-site.
- Complete pre-delivery set-up for new and used equipment.
- Handle job-related administration, including:
- Maintaining job cards
- Recording data in DTAC systems
- Submitting timesheets
- Ensure a tidy, organised, and safe workstation at all times.
- Conduct vehicle and machinery diagnostics with competence.
- Strictly adhere to company health & safety procedures.
- Engage in ongoing manufacturer and product training.
- Provide mentorship and support to apprentices within the workshop team.

Skills & Experience
- Proven experience as a machinery/groundscare/agricultural engineer.
- Familiarity with John Deere, Stihl, and competitive product ranges is a strong advantage.
- Confident IT user comfortable with:
- Diagnostic software
- Reporting tools
- Demonstrates strong customer service skills, with the ability to:
- Work independently
- Collaborate effectively in a team.
- Full UK driving licence required.
