Dumbarnie Links is a modern links golf course, designed by renowned architect Clive Clark and opened in 2020 along Scotland’s picturesque coastline. The team at Dumbarnie Links is focused on delivering high-quality service and fostering a friendly environment for all guests.
The Role
We are seeking a Golf Operations Assistant to support day-to-day operations at Dumbarnie Links in Leven. This on-site role will involve welcoming and assisting golfers, maintaining a professional appearance, and ensuring a smooth experience for visitors.
Responsibilities

Guest Welcome & Assistance
- Welcoming guests to and off the course
- Acting as a player assistant and Range Attendant

Equipment & Customer Operations
- Organising and managing rental equipment
- Handling payments and updating bookings or reservations

Course Coordination
- Assisting with the pace of play on the course
- Answering guest inquiries and providing information on:
- Course policies
- Local amenities
- General hospitality services

Administrative Support
- Light clerical duties, including updating digital records or systems
- Collaborating with colleagues to ensure operational efficiency

Maintenance & Appearance
- Ensuring a tidy, professional appearance in all golf operations areas
Requirements

Customer Service Excellence
- Strong interpersonal skills to interact professionally with golfers and staff
- Ability to communicate clearly and courteously

Technical & Office Skills
- Familiarity with point-of-sale systems
- Experience using reservation or tee sheet software

Golf Experience & Interest
- Knowledge or passion for golf, etiquette, and course operations preferred
- Prior experience in golf or hospitality is advantageous but not mandatory

Work Ethic & Availability
- Reliability and attention to detail required
- Willingness to work:
- Weekdays and weekends
- Extended hours (including peak seasons)
- Ability to stand for long periods, move across the course, and perform light lifting
Working Pattern
- 3–4 days per week
- Includes weekend work as needed
- Immediate start through to October 2026
