About Deeside Golf Club
Set on the banks of the River Dee in Northeast Scotland, Deeside Golf Club is a prestigious private members' club renowned for its welcoming atmosphere and exceptional golfing facilities. The club features:
- 27 holes of golf
- 8-bay driving range
- Extensive practice areas
The club boasts a healthy waiting list (~5 years), a thriving junior section, and a strong ladies' section.
The Role
We are seeking an enthusiastic and highly organised Golf Operations Lead to join our forward-thinking, vibrant, and happy culture team.
Key Responsibilities
Reporting to the Head Professional, the ideal candidate will:
- Assist with daily golf operations and Pro Shop activities.
- Deliver exceptional service to members and guests.
- Oversee tee sheet management, competitions, and golf events.
- Coordinate major club competitions, member events, and visiting society days.
- Collaborate with the PGA Professional team, Course Manager, and other departments.
- Ensure compliance with club policies and health & safety requirements.
- Develop efficient operational procedures and service standards.
- Gather member feedback and support continuous improvement initiatives.
- Contribute to projects that increase participation, engagement, and satisfaction.

About You
Requirements
You will have:
- Experience in golf operations, club administration, retail, or a similar customer-focused environment.
- Strong organisational, communication, and problem-solving skills.
- A proactive, hands-on approach with exceptional attention to detail.
- Commercial awareness and budget management experience.
- A genuine passion for golf and delivering first-class customer service.
Desirable
- PGA, CMAE, or equivalent golf industry qualifications/experience.
- Experience in a private members' club.
- Knowledge of club management and competition software.
- First Aid and Health & Safety qualifications.
