Location: On-site in Knutsford, Cheshire, North-West England (not remote)

Your Purpose Will Be

To participate in team management of golf services, training and development of staff, P&L Responsibility, driving sales and guest satisfaction/experience belonging to Fairmont Cheshire, The Mere. To maintain the standards, safety and quality of service as set out in the brand SOP.

Job Description

Support sales plans, promotions and team incentives Work with marketing to keep all golf promotions up to date Understand departmental budgets and revenue targets Report on all golf‑related revenues Take a commercial approach to daily operations to help drive income Look for ways to improve service and introduce new ideas Ensure all Golf Services follow SOPs and brand standards Help maintain and improve guest satisfaction scores Lead by example in delivering an exceptional guest journey Support colleagues and promote a positive team culture Train and guide junior team members Contribute to team development and succession planning Monitor business levels to ensure smooth daily operations Work closely with other departments to maximise performance Maintain cleanliness in all front and back‑of‑house golf areas Attend weekly Resort Operations Meetings when possible

Qualifications

1–2 years of experience in golf operations or guest‑facing leisure services within a luxury resort or premium hospitality setting (preferred) Strong communication and customer‑service skills Good organisational and leadership abilities Basic IT proficiency (PMS, booking systems, Microsoft Office) Ability to work outdoors and manage the physical demands of the role Knowledge of golf etiquette, products and services (preferred) First Aid certification (preferred)
