Join Carnivore and Take Ownership of Stock Accuracy

We're looking for a proactive and detail-focused Goods In & Stock Controller to join our Brook Road operation in Waltham Cross.

This is more than a goods-in role. You'll be responsible for maintaining stock accuracy across the site, ensuring inventory is correctly booked, controlled and available to support customer demand. Working at the heart of a fast-paced chilled food operation, you'll play a key role in managing stock movements, date-code control, returns, waste and inventory integrity.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage and control the goods-in process, ensuring all deliveries are checked and booked accurately.
  • Maintain high levels of stock accuracy across warehouse systems and physical inventory.
  • Conduct regular stock counts and investigate stock discrepancies.
  • Control stock rotation and date-code management to support product availability and minimise waste.
  • Manage returns, quarantine stock and waste processes.
  • Ensure all stock movements, transfers and adjustments are accurately recorded.
  • Work closely with warehouse, purchasing and operational teams to support customer service and stock availability.
  • Identify opportunities to improve stock control processes and operational efficiency.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
