Goods In Supervisor
Salary: £32,779.32 per annum
Shift Pattern: Rotating shifts, 06:00-14:00 / 14:00-22:00
The Role
We're looking for an experienced Goods In Supervisor to oversee the day-to-day running of the Goods In operation, ensuring products are received safely, accurately, and efficiently while maintaining high service standards.
Reporting to the Shift Manager, you'll lead a team of Goods In Operatives and Section Leaders, driving productivity, compliance, and continuous improvement across the department. You'll also deputise for the Shift Manager when required.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and motivate the Goods In team to achieve operational targets and service levels.
- Ensure all activities are carried out safely and in line with company procedures and regulatory requirements.
- Monitor productivity, quality, and accuracy, driving continuous improvement where required.
- Ensure stock is received and processed accurately within agreed timescales.
- Maintain compliance with GDP, MHRA, and other relevant industry standards.
- Manage team performance, attendance, training, and development.
- Plan resources effectively to meet operational demands.
- Conduct regular team briefings and maintain clear communication across departments.
- Support investigations into errors and implement corrective actions where necessary.
- Maintain excellent housekeeping and health & safety standards throughout the department.

About You
- Previous supervisory experience within a warehouse, logistics, or distribution environment.
- Strong knowledge of warehouse operations and inventory processes.
- Experience leading, coaching, and developing teams.
- Good understanding of GDP and regulated warehouse environments.
- Strong communication, organisational, and problem-solving skills.
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment and managing competing priorities.
- PC literate with good administration skills.
