About the Role
I'm currently recruiting for a Goods Inwards Supervisor on behalf of a well-established, highly successful specialist distributor based in Reading.
This is a fantastic opportunity to join the business at a particularly exciting time. They have ambitious growth plans and are preparing for a move into significantly larger premises by the end of 2026. As a result, this role offers the chance to join a growing organisation with genuine opportunities for development as the business continues to expand.
Key Responsibilities

- Overseeing the day-to-day Goods Inwards operation
- Leading a small team
- Ensuring all inbound stock is received, checked, and processed accurately
Required Experience & Qualifications
I'm particularly keen to speak with candidates who have:
- Previous experience within a Goods In, Warehouse, or Logistics environment
- Supervisory or team leadership experience
- A valid Counterbalance Forklift Licence (essential)
- A Reach Truck Licence (highly desirable)
- Experience receiving, checking, and booking in stock
- Strong stock control and inventory management experience
- Experience using warehouse management or ERP systems
- Excellent organisational and problem-solving skills
