Goods Receiving Team Leader
We currently have an exciting opportunity to join our team as a Goods Receiving Team Leader. In this role, you will be responsible for leading the goods receiving operation, ensuring all stock is received, checked, and stored safely whilst maintaining high standards of accuracy, efficiency, and compliance. A proactive approach, strong leadership skills, and attention to detail are essential for success in this role.
We Are Looking For Applicants Who Have
- Experience in a warehouse or goods receiving environment
- Strong leadership and team-building skills
- Excellent communication and people skills
- Good organizational and problem-solving abilities
- The ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
- A good understanding of warehouse operations and Health & Safety requirements
Responsibilities Of The Role
- Lead and support the day-to-day goods receiving operation within the warehouse
- Ensure all incoming goods are checked accurately against delivery documentation and company standards
- Monitor stock quality, quantities, and storage conditions, reporting any discrepancies or damages
- Support, train, and develop team members to achieve operational objectives
- Maintain a safe working environment and ensure compliance with Health & Safety procedures
- Work closely with warehouse teams to ensure effective communication and efficient stock movement throughout the operation
