Steeped in history and situated in the heart of Belgravia, The Pembroke stands apart as a unique club for Londoners. From the spirit of our members to the splendour of our events, we are a home for eclectic and excellent living. A place to eat, drink, dance and meet, The Pembroke opens its doors to those who wish to fill their world with the finest experiences, from cocktails to culture, billiards to business.

The Head Office is based on-site, within The Pembroke and represents the department responsible for leading and supporting with administration of the club's daily duties.

Role Overview

As we build out our operational team, we are looking for a diligent and detail-focused Goods Receiver to play an essential role in the club’s stock and supply operation.

The Goods Receiver is the first point of control in the club’s supply chain. Reporting to the Purchasing & Stock Control Manager and working closely with the BOH Supervisor, you are responsible for the accurate receipt, inspection, documentation, and storage of all incoming deliveries – with a primary focus on beverage stock. Your attention to detail at the point of intake directly protects the club’s GP, stock integrity, and supplier accountability.

This is a physically active role that requires a methodical approach, strong numeracy, and the confidence to challenge and reject deliveries that do not meet the club’s standards. You will handle goods carefully, maintain a clean and organised goods receiving area, and ensure all documentation is completed accurately and promptly for the Purchasing & Stock Control Manager.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
