Gallery & Information Assistants
Volunteering at the Goodwood Art Foundation is a fun way to get involved and you will also have a chance to see lots of the Art too!
We are seeking individuals who are passionate about customer experience, enjoy meeting new people, and helping others. You will enjoy being part of a small team, keen to learn and share your knowledge and have time to commit regularly to the being part of the Art Foundation.
We are seeking a number of individuals to join us in volunteering for Gallery Assistants and Information Assistants. These roles will be a blend of indoor and outdoor working, so please do specify if you have a preference.
Gallery Assistants
The Gallery Assistants play an important role in the overall experience of visiting the Art Foundation. You will be on hand to provide information on the artworks, landscape and the events programme.
We ask that specifically focus on delivering;
A warm and friendly welcome to all visitors with the galleries and the landscape Keen to help by providing information to visitors and answering questions about the sculptures and installations on display. Being vigilant around the works on display to help prevent loss or damage to artworks Support visitors in making the most of their experience by providing further information of the grounds of the Art Foundation and the Café 24. Monitor the standards within the building and landscape and report any concerns to the Operations Manager If you observe any Health and Safety concerns, please raise these with the Operations Manager Provide visitor support for special events and performances Maintain good health and safety practices, liaising with the Operations Manager in an emergency.

Information Assistants
The information Assistants play an important role in the overall experience of visiting the Art Foundation. You will be on hand to provide support to visitors as they arrive, offering guidance, directions and answering any questions they may have in relation to the galleries or landscape.
We ask that specifically focus on delivering;
Greeting visitors in a warm and friendly manner on arrival in the Car Park Offering guidance on accessible parking and to those who require Electric Vehicle Charger (EVC) facilities Directing visitors to the main arrival area and The Gallery, points of interest and locations within the Goodwood Art Foundation Being vigilant around the works on display to help prevent loss or damage to artworks Monitor the standards within the landscape and report any concerns to the Operations Manager If you observe any Health and Safety concerns, please raise these with the Operations Manager Provide visitor support for special events and performances Maintain good health and safety practices, liaising with the Operations Manager in an emergency.

An interest in art and the environment Attention to detail; you know what good looks like Prepared to commit regular time to being a volunteer Be smart and presentable at all times
