Excellent opportunity for GCP Lead Architect to be part of our Cloud Infrastructure & Security services practice. Cognizant Infrastructure Services – Provides IT infrastructure & Cloud services for clients across industry verticals, including both Consulting/Professional and Managed Services, across Enterprise Computing, Cloud services, Security Services, DevOps, Data Centres, End User Computing, Service Desk, Network Services and Environment Management Services.
Responsibilities:
Lead architecture, validation, and governance of GCP Landing Zone and GCVE environment for enterprise-scale migration Define and drive VMware migration strategy, including migration waves, cutover, rollback planning, and execution oversight Develop HLD and LLD architecture, ensuring alignment with business, infrastructure, and compliance requirements Collaborate with infrastructure and application teams to design optimal solutions, perform migration PoCs, and validate workload readiness Architect and oversee Backup & DR strategy, ensuring data protection and migration success criteria are met Own end-to-end migration delivery, ensuring workloads meet defined technical and performance expectations
