We are looking for an enthusiastic and well-organised individual to join our Trust as a Governance and Compliance Administrator. This is an exciting new role, created in response to the growing demands of governance and statutory compliance. Graveney Trust consists of three schools; Graveney School, Tooting Primary School and Franciscan Primary School.
The successful candidate will play a key role in supporting the smooth running of governance and compliance processes across the Trust. Working closely with the Clerk to the Governors, Executive Principal and Primary Headteachers, you will provide high-quality administrative and organisational support to ensure that our statutory and regulatory responsibilities are met efficiently.
The role requires systems to ensure that reports, policies and documentation are easily accessible for Directors, Governors and Staff. Accurate registers and logs for key compliance areas being complaints, Subject Access Requests, Freedom of Information Requests, data breaches and accidents. Monitoring the Trust and schools’ website compliance and liaising with relevant staff to ensure timely updates. Supporting the governance and clerking processes as required.

Key Responsibilities:
- Providing high-quality administrative and organisational support
- Ensuring reports, policies and documentation are easily accessible
- Maintaining accurate registers and logs for key compliance areas
- Monitoring Trust and schools’ website compliance
- Supporting governance and clerking processes
Qualifications:
- Excellent communication, organisational and time-management skills
- Competent in using ICT
Experience:
- Previous experience within a school environment, particularly in governance, compliance or clerking, would be advantageous but is not essential
Working Hours:
- The role can be worked over three full days per week, or across shorter hours spread over more days, by agreement.
