Governance Professional

We are seeking an experienced and highly organised Governance Professional to lead and coordinate the College's governance function. Working closely with the Chair and Board of Governors, you will provide expert advice and support on governance, statutory responsibilities and regulatory compliance, ensuring the College continues to operate in line with best practice.

Key Responsibilities

  • Ensure the Board is well supported to discharge its responsibilities effectively.
  • Enable informed decision-making and promote the highest standards of governance.
  • Coordinate governor development.
  • Provide authoritative guidance on governance matters.
  • Help shape the continuous improvement of our governance framework.

Requirements

  • Substantial experience in a governance role.
  • Sound understanding of corporate governance and the effective operation of a Board.
  • Excellent communicator with strong analytical and organisational skills.
  • Ability to work with professionalism, accuracy, and discretion.
