About The Role
We're looking for experienced GRC professionals to help build and evaluate AI systems that reason about security, compliance, and risk. At Alignerr, we partner with the world's leading AI research labs — and your real-world expertise in governance and compliance will directly shape how AI understands these critical domains.
This isn't a typical compliance role. You'll be applying your knowledge in a new and meaningful way: helping frontier AI get security and risk reasoning right.

What You'll Do
- Review and analyze security policies, controls, and procedures for accuracy and completeness
- Evaluate compliance scenarios against real-world frameworks such as SOC 2, ISO 27001, and NIST
- Assess risk statements, control mappings, and audit-style documentation
- Generate and validate high-quality training and evaluation data for AI systems
- Provide structured, precise written reasoning to support AI model development

Who You Are
Requirements
- 2+ years of hands-on experience in GRC, compliance, or risk management
- Familiarity with one or more major frameworks: SOC 2, ISO 27001, NIST, HIPAA, or similar
- Comfortable reading, interpreting, and critiquing policy and audit documentation
- Detail-oriented with strong written communication skills
- Ability to work independently and deliver consistent, high-quality output

- Experience with data annotation, data quality review, or AI evaluation workflows
- Background in information security, internal audit, or enterprise risk
- Familiarity with control testing or third-party risk assessments
