GP Maternity Cover Opportunity – Salisbury House Surgery, Leighton Buzzard

Salisbury House Surgery is seeking an experienced and dedicated GP to join our friendly and supportive team on a maternity cover basis.
This is an excellent opportunity for a patient-focused clinician to work within a well-established practice, providing high-quality primary care to our patient population. The successful candidate will play a key role in delivering comprehensive medical care, managing chronic conditions, and collaborating with our multidisciplinary team to ensure the best possible outcomes for patients.

Key Responsibilities
- Provide high-quality clinical care through effective consultation, diagnosis, treatment, and management of patients.
- Deliver comprehensive primary care services in line with current clinical guidelines and best practice.
- Manage patients with long-term and chronic health conditions.
- Work collaboratively with GPs, nurses, allied health professionals, and external healthcare providers.
- Promote preventative healthcare and patient wellbeing.
- Support the training, supervision, and development of healthcare staff and trainees where appropriate.
- Maintain accurate clinical records and ensure compliance with professional and regulatory standards.

Essential Qualifications and Experience
- Full GMC registration with a licence to practise in the United Kingdom.
- Strong experience in General Practice, Primary Care, Family Medicine, and clinical medicine.
- Excellent consultation, communication, and patient-management skills.
- Experience working effectively within multidisciplinary healthcare teams.
- Commitment to delivering high-quality, patient-centred care.
- Dedication to continuing professional development and maintaining clinical excellence.
