Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site Grab Driver role working out of either our Oxford or Membury locations. The Grab Driver will operate grab trucks to transport materials to and from construction sites, ensuring safe loading, unloading, and delivery.

Responsibilities

- Conducting pre- and post-trip vehicle inspections
- Following all traffic and site safety regulations
- Maintaining accurate delivery records and documentation
- Coordinating with site managers and other team members
- Responding to changing site requirements
- Representing the company professionally with clients and the public
- Keeping vehicles clean, well-maintained, and reporting any maintenance issues promptly
Qualifications
- Strong truck driving skills and experience operating grab or similar heavy vehicles
- All the relevant Certs to cover the crane Lorry Loader/HIAB certification / CPCS & Digital Tachograph Card
- A valid Category C (or equivalent heavy goods vehicle license) and meeting all legal driving requirements
- Clear, reliable communication skills for coordinating with site teams and supervisors
- Customer service skills to interact professionally with clients, suppliers, and the public
- Familiarity with basic vehicle safety checks, load securing practices, and safe operation on construction sites
- Relevant experience in construction, civils, or utilities projects is beneficial
- A strong focus on health and safety, punctuality, and reliability is essential
- Ability to work flexible hours when required and a good knowledge of local routes is advantageous
