About the Role
We are seeking a confident and experienced Family Solicitor to manage a varied private family law caseload independently. The successful candidate will join the existing Doncaster office and work as part of the wider family team.
Responsibilities
The role will include:
- Managing divorce, separation, financial remedy, and private children matters
- Advising on cohabitation disputes, pre-nuptial and post-nuptial agreements, separation agreements, and protective injunctions
- Handling TOLATA matters where appropriate, with TOLATA experience being ideal
- Supervising and developing junior staff
- Supporting the wider family team
- Attending networking events and assisting with business development
- Contributing to the continued growth of the Doncaster office and the wider firm

Ideal Candidate
The ideal candidate will have:
- Ideally 8+ years’ PQE in family law, although strong candidates with relevant experience will be considered
- Experience in both children and financial remedy matters
- TOLATA experience is ideal
- Ability to manage a busy caseload with minimal supervision
- Excellent client care, drafting, and communication skills
- Strong commercial awareness and a good billing record
- Experience or willingness to supervise and develop junior colleagues
- Willingness to network and assist with business development
- Ambition to grow within the firm
- Confidence using case management systems and Microsoft Office
- A professional, organized, and team-focused approach

Working Arrangements
This is an office-based role in Doncaster. Full-time is preferred, although part-time may be considered for the right candidate.
