PR and Strategic Communications

Role: Graduate Account Executive (PR and Strategic Communications)

Reporting to: Account Manager / Senior Account Manager

Location: Oxford or London office, hybrid working (minimum 2 days in the office, up to 3 remote)

About Us

Where energy transition leaders do business.

Founded in 2011, Tamarindo convenes the most influential companies leading the energy transition through finance, projects and innovation. We deliver this through a programme of events, awards and intelligence. We bring that same depth of knowledge, experience and relationships to our strategic communications work, helping clients build profile, shape perception and win business. There is no equivalent.

We believe that our integrated model makes us unique. Tamarindo delivers three capabilities with one compelling client advantage. Our events and roundtables deepen the market intelligence that makes our editorial output authoritative. That intelligence sharpens the communications strategies we build for clients, grounding them in genuine sector knowledge rather than speculative and generic messaging. Our communications clients benefit from direct access to the platforms and relationships that only Tamarindo can offer.

We have dedicated ourselves to the energy transition for fifteen years, and we will never divert from that. We firmly believe that this is what sector specialism really looks like.

About The Role

This is an entry-level, permanent, full-time position. It is suitable for university graduates as well as those with up to two years of relevant industry experience.

The role sits within Tamarindo's strategic communications team but the wider context matters. Joining Tamarindo as an Account Executive means working inside an independent business with genuine convening authority in the energy transition, with direct access to the senior practitioners, investors, developers and lenders who shape the sector. That is a different proposition from joining a PR agency and successful candidates should be alive to what this means and why it matters.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
