About CN Foods
CN Foods is one of the UK’s fastest growing independent food and drink distributors, supplying an exciting portfolio of brands to retailers, cafés, hospitality businesses and specialist food outlets. With a fast paced, entrepreneurial culture and ambitious growth plans, we offer a great environment for people who want to take responsibility, develop quickly and build a long term career in the food and drink industry.
The Role
We are looking for a motivated Junior Account Manager to join our commercial team. This is an ideal role for someone at the start of their career who wants to learn account management in the food and drink industry from the ground up.
You will begin by looking after a portfolio of customers including shops, cafés and other food and drink businesses. As your confidence grows, you will have the opportunity to get involved in business development, helping customers grow their range with CN Foods and identifying new commercial opportunities.
This role is designed to develop into a full Account Manager position. By six months, we would expect you to have built good experience and confidence in the role. After one year, subject to performance, attitude and progress, we would look to move you into a more focused Account Manager role with greater responsibility for business development, customer growth and managing a more targeted portfolio of accounts.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
