Graduate Acoustic Consultant
We’re looking for a Graduate Acoustic Consultant to join our growing Leicestershire team. This is an excellent opportunity for the right candidate to progress a career in a specialist field of acoustics. You will be supported by our established team of experienced technicians and consultants while you grow into your new role.

Key role responsibilities:
Under the guidance and supervision of our team, you will learn how to:
- Undertake noise and vibration impact assessments
- Carry out sound insulation testing
- Complete computational noise calculations for Building and Environmental Acoustics
- Produce technical reports suitable for client submission
- Maintain and build relationships with trusted clients
- Collaborate with team from the commencement to completion of projects
This role can occasionally involve, night and potentially weekend work, and travel throughout the UK for which you will be remunerated for.
Key skills, experience and attributes required:
- Educated to a minimum standard of degree, or equivalent, in a relevant subject
- Full UK driving licence
- Good numeracy skills
- Excellent written and verbal skills, particularly report writing and client liaison
- Good IT skills, in particular Microsoft Office
- The ability to make effective decisions whilst remaining calm under pressure
- Self-motivated with a proactive and positive attitude
- Eligible to work in the UK
Desirable Skills:
- Knowledge of Building Regulations or British Standard industry guidelines
- On site construction experience
- Experience in the use of AutoCAD, CadnaA or similar design/analysis software packages
- Experience and accreditation in Building Acoustics (UKAS/SITMA) in line with Approved Document E
