Graduate Acoustics Consultant

We have an exciting opportunity for a Graduate Acoustic Consultant to join the CPW Acoustics Team, working 36.25 hours per week under our agile framework.

  • Earn while you learn, developing your technical knowledge and practical skills through structured training and project work
  • Undertake noise surveys and acoustic measurements on a variety of projects across multiple sectors
  • Learn how to design buildings and noise control solutions to achieve acoustic performance requirements
  • Develop knowledge of acoustic modelling software and undertake first-principles acoustic calculations
  • Assist in preparing technical reports and providing design advice to clients and project teams
  • Meet and work with clients, architects, contractors, planners, and other professionals involved in the design and construction process
  • Support senior consultants in delivering projects from initial assessment through to completion

You will work on a diverse range of projects, gaining valuable experience across environmental acoustics, building acoustics, and noise control engineering.

Your Experience, Skills & Qualifications

We are looking for enthusiastic individuals with a passion for problem-solving and a desire to develop a career in acoustics.

You will have:

  • A degree in acoustics or a related subject
  • Strong numerical and analytical skills
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
  • A willingness to learn and develop new technical skills
  • The ability to work collaboratively as part of a team while also using your own initiative
  • Good organizational skills and attention to detail

Previous industry experience is not essential, as full training and mentoring will be provided.
