About The Role

As a Graduate AI Developer, you will have a hands-on role in designing, building, and deploying AI agents as part of TSG’s Applied AI programme. You’ll join a fast-growing AI practice featuring:

  • A live governance framework
  • Senior AI leadership already in place
  • Multiple production agents delivering measurable outcomes for both internal teams and customers

From your first day, you’ll be embedded in real AI builds, learning how AI systems are designed, governed, tested, and deployed at scale across Microsoft-first technologies. Your focus will be:

  • Building AI agents using Microsoft Copilot Studio and the Power Platform
  • Integrating agents with systems we use, including:
    • Microsoft 365
    • Dynamics 365 (CRM & ERP)
    • Halo ITSM
    • Azure AI
    • TSG OneView
  • Working alongside experienced AI engineers, architects, and security specialists
  • Ensuring adherence to TSG’s quality, security, and governance standards

This hybrid role is structured to accelerate early career growth for those who want to build real AI systems and progress rapidly based on demonstrated capability.

Graduation NOTE: A 2:1 or above in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Data Science, Artificial Intelligence, or a related STEM discipline is essential for this position. Candidates must be based within the North East.

Knowledge, Skills & Experience

Essential Requirements

  • Degree classification: 2:1 or above in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Data Science, Artificial Intelligence, or related STEM discipline
  • Practical experience with:
    • LLMs, agent design, NLP, or automation projects (with a preference for hands-on examples)
    • Prompt engineering (structured prompts, reasoning chains)
    • Underlying mechanisms for grounding & Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG/system alignment)
    • Evaluation methods, including human-in-the-loop checking

Preferred Technical Skills

  • Comfortable with programming (preferably Python, C#, TypeScript, or JavaScript)
  • Exposure to:
    • Direct AI APIs, LangChain, Semantic Kernel, LlamaIndex/Autogen-caller tools
  • Version control: Git (GitHub/GitLab)
  • End-to-end project history, showcasing academic, professional, or personal work
