At Kaluza, we power the Energy Intelligence Platform, transforming complexity into seamless energy coordination. We help companies navigate today’s energy challenges while accelerating the shift to a cleaner, electrified future. Our platform efficiently manages real-time decisions across homes, devices, markets, and grids—combining predictive algorithms with human-centred design to ensure clean energy is dependable, affordable, and adaptable.
We work globally, with locations across Europe, North America, Asia, and Australia, and a partnership with Mitsubishi Corporation in Japan. Our clients include industry leaders like OVO, AGL, ENGIE, as well as innovators such as Volvo and Volkswagen.
Your Responsibilities
As an AI Engineer at Kaluza, you’ll drive our mission to accelerate the global clean energy transition by building intelligent systems that enhance smarter, faster, and greener energy decisions. You’ll work in a collaborative and forward-thinking engineering team to design AI-powered solutions that shape how energy is produced, distributed, and consumed.
- Design, develop, and deploy machine learning models and AI-driven pipelines for real-time energy optimisation across our platform.
- Collaborate with product managers, data scientists, and software engineers to translate complex business problems into scalable AI solutions.
- Integrate and evaluate large language models (LLMs) and generative AI to deliver measurable impact for our energy partners.
- Build robust MLOps infrastructure, including model serving, monitoring, and retraining pipelines, ensuring global scalability.
- Champion best practices in MLOps, ensuring models remain accurate, explainable, and aligned with evolving data.
- Contribute to the technical direction of AI by staying ahead of emerging research and innovating with new approaches.
- Partner with stakeholders to communicate model performance, limitations, and opportunities in a clear, human-centred way.
Reasons to use Rodeo
I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
