About the Role

Key Responsibilities
- Build AI-powered product experiences: Collaborate with product teams to identify transformative opportunities where AI can enhance user experiences for millions. Deliver robust, scalable, and production-ready solutions, from ideation to final implementation.
- Amplify impact with AI: Integrate cutting-edge AI tools into your workflows—from design to testing to documentation. Leverage them to accelerate development while upholding strict standards for correctness, reliability, and maintainability.
- Master your toolkit: Work across diverse tech stacks with end-to-end ownership. Choose the right technologies for each challenge, balancing depth over trends—for example, from monoliths to microservices, gRPC to REST, Kubernetes to Docker, and Python to Rust.
- Build software that matters: Take full ownership of systems used by millions, shaping them into production-ready products at scale.
- Simplify relentlessly: Challenge complexity in every layer of code and architecture. Improve systems for greater scalability, maintainability, and simplicity.

- £85,797 (London)/€66,065 (rest of Europe): Entry-level base salaries.
- £112,189–£250,512 (London)/€107,837–€188,848: Mid-to-senior level salaries depending on experience.
- Top contributors may see additional compensation adjustments. Permanent hires can also receive company equity at a discount.
- Relocation benefit: If you move to Italy, eligible relocatees enjoy a 50% tax cut on work income.

Commitment
- Full-time, permanent or fixed-term roles are available.
- Primary engagement expectation: Your early days will involve on-site presence at our Milan office to accelerate onboarding and cultural integration (we’ll support your travel and lodging). You’ll transition to remote work or office options only after this phase, based on prior discussions.
