Graduate Architectural Technician

Graduate Architectural Technician (Huddersfield)

Our award-winning architecture and building consultancy—renowned for innovative, sustainable, and people-focused design—is expanding its team. As a recent Architectural Technology graduate, this is your chance to kick-start your career in a supportive, collaborative environment.

Due to continued growth, we’re seeking a Graduate Architectural Technologist to join our team based in Huddersfield, delivering projects across sectors such as education, healthcare, residential, commercial, workplace, and public buildings.

This role offers: ✔ Develop your technical expertise in a challenging, mentored environment ✔ Work alongside architects, technologists, surveyors, engineers, and project managers ✔ Structure training and long-term career progression


The Role

As a Graduate Architectural Technician, you’ll assist in delivering projects from concept to construction, gaining hands-on experience while upskilling under the guidance of senior professionals.

Key Responsibilities

  • Produce high-quality technical drawings and construction details in Revit
  • Support planning application submissions and Building Regulations compliance
  • Develop BIM models and technical documentation
  • Coordinate information with architects, consultants, and contractors
  • Attend project meetings and site visits
  • Contribute to specifications and construction packaging
  • Ensure adherence to current UK construction standards

About You

We’re looking for an energetic self-starter, passionate about quality in design and construction, with a growth mindset.

Ideal Skills & Experience

  • A degree in Architectural Technology or a related discipline
  • Revit proficiency (applied in academic or placement work preferred)
  • Understanding of UK Building Regulations and effective construction detailing
  • Strong communication and organisational skills
  • Ability to thrive in collaborative team settings
  • Proactive approach with a desire for professional development
