We are seeking a graduate to join the EMEA Capital Markets Operations team at Broadridge, supporting corporate actions activity across multiple markets.
This role is suited to someone who is organized, analytical, and eager to develop within financial markets operations, while contributing to a well-controlled and collaborative team environment.
Responsibilities:
- Support the Corporate Actions team across EMEA markets, ensuring timely, accurate, and well-controlled processing of events.
- Assist in investigating and resolving dividend and coupon breaks, including reviewing and helping resolve payable and receivable claims.
- Monitor incoming claims and escalate matters appropriately to senior team members where needed.
- Liaise with brokers, custodians, and internal stakeholders to support the resolution and closure of open payables and receivables.
- Perform reconciliations across systems and accounts, identifying, investigating, and flagging discrepancies in a timely manner.
- Ensure adherence to market deadlines, regulatory requirements, and internal control procedures, with a strong focus on risk awareness.
- Maintain accurate records and documentation of corporate actions activities, supporting auditability and operational transparency.
- Support process improvement and automation initiatives within the team, while collaborating with colleagues to ensure efficient day-to-day operations.

Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, Business, or a related discipline.
- Internship or placement experience in financial services is advantageous but not required.
- Strong academic performance with a demonstrated interest in financial markets and operations.
- Basic or foundational understanding of financial products and trade lifecycle concepts is preferred, though not essential.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other MS Office tools.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to investigate issues thoughtfully and apply sound judgment.
- High attention to detail, effective time management, and a clear sense of ownership and accountability when handling tasks and transactions.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills, learning agility, and awareness of controls, escalation protocols, and operational processes.
- Familiarity with SWIFT messages, wire payments, and SSI setup would be an advantage.
