Graduate Bid Writer

Open to Graduates

Kittle Group is recruiting earlier-in-career professionals with outstanding writing and communication skills to launch their bid writer career with a leading public procurement consultancy.

About Kittle Group

Based in Reading, we’re a fast-growing specialist in tender writing, bidding, and public sector procurement. Our clients—ranging from charities to tier one construction firms—rely on us to translate their services into successful bids. You’ll work with diverse sectors including justice & custody, energy & tech, security & defence, health & social care, and construction.

Your impact matters—you’ll help shape public services across the UK through high-profile projects. As you grow with Kittle, you’ll develop lasting client relationships, master bid-writing craft, and earn industry recognition for bespoke, results-driven bids.

What You’ll Do

You’ll play a pivotal role in crafting compelling bids, from initial client consultations to final submission. Key responsibilities include:

  • Client engagement: Conduct in-depth research and Discovery workshops to deeply understand clients’ service offerings.
  • Strategic writing: Draft bid narratives, proposals, and supporting documentation that align with tender specifications.
  • Collaboration: Work with cross-functional teams (research, Bid Directors, clients) to refine winning strategies.
  • Adaptability: Quickly assimilate complex information (e.g., technical specs, market trends) and present it clearly and persuasively.
  • Compliance: Ensure bids meet public sector procurement standards and regulatory requirements.

The role is perfectionistic—you’ll balance deadline precision with adaptability in fast-paced projects.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
