The Graduate Building Surveyor +2 Role
About The Role
The Graduate Building Surveyor +2 will support the Building Surveying team, providing advice and guidance on the design, construction, maintenance, repair, and refurbishment of all types of buildings and sites.
Key responsibilities include:
- Collaborating with the Surveying team to deliver inspections covering:
- Acquisition surveys
- Condition reports
- Measured surveys
- Defect investigations
- Drafting detailed reports, schedules of work, and project-specific works specifications
- Designing and managing construction projects while adhering to recognised building contracts and current technical standards
- Developing expertise in legal and regulatory frameworks, including:
- Health & Safety regulations
- Party Wall legislation
- Building Regulations
- Planning requirements
- Strict adherence to the company’s administrative policies, personnel procedures, and Health & Safety regulations

The Person
Candidates should demonstrate:
- A BSc / MSc degree in a relevant discipline
- Hands-on experience and knowledge of:
- Consulting engineering, surveying, architectural, and planning practices
- Latest statutory requirements and technical publications
- Working familiarity with:
- CDM Regulations 2015
- Party Wall and Building Regulation legislation
- Proven ability to work to tight deadlines
