Ready to kick-start your sales career in a fast-growing renewable energy business? At PPAYA, we’re helping shape the future of how renewable power is bought and sold, and we’re looking for a confident, ambitious self-starter to join our commercial team. This is a brilliant opportunity for a recent graduate, early-career professional, or someone from a customer-facing background who wants to break into B2B sales. You do not need renewable energy experience, we will give you the training, tools, and support to learn and thrive. What matters is your energy, resilience, curiosity, and hunger to succeed.
You’ll be right within the thick of the action, finding new opportunities, starting conversations, booking meetings, and learning how successful sales relationships are built and maintained. This is a role for someone who wants to learn fast, build confidence quickly, and see a clear link between effort, results, and reward.
What you’ll be doing
- Researching target companies and spotting new sales opportunities across the UK renewables market
- Reaching out to prospects by phone, email, and LinkedIn to spark interest in PPAYA
- Booking meetings and supporting the wider commercial team to convert opportunities
- Learning how renewable energy deals work, including PPAs, with coaching from experienced colleagues
- Building relationships with prospects and customers in a professional, confident, and engaging way
- Keeping CRM records accurate and tracking activity, pipeline, and progress against targets
- Working with marketing on campaigns, events, and lead generation ideas
- Representing PPAYA at events, exhibitions, and industry forums as your confidence grows
- Learning fast, asking great questions, and continuously improving your sales approach

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
