Job Description
Graduate Business Management Support Executive
Location: Basildon | Full-time | Graduate Programme | Start date: September/October 2026
Department: Business Management Platform Solutions
Are you highly organised, detail-oriented and interested in how businesses are governed and managed? Do you enjoy working across teams and supporting strategic initiatives?
Join the SS&C Graduate Programme as a Graduate Business Management Support Executive and gain exposure to governance, risk, compliance and operational management across our platform solutions business.
What you'll be doing
Duties
You'll build an understanding of how the platform business operates and how governance supports it. Over time, you'll take ownership of activities and develop a broader business perspective. Other duties include:
- Support due diligence and oversight activities
- Assist with tracking audit, regulatory and risk actions
- Manage 3rd party relationships and suppliers
- Help maintain policies, procedures and governance frameworks
- Contribute to team projects and strategic initiatives
- Produce reports and key documentation
- Collaborate with stakeholders across the business

What we're looking for
Degree Requirement (essential)
- 2:2 or above in Business Management, Finance, Economics, Law or a governance/risk-related discipline
Essential Skills
- Strong organisation and multi-tasking ability
- Evidence of report writing or structured documentation
- Strong communication and collaboration skills
- Good working knowledge of Microsoft Office
- Evidence of problem-solving and decision-making
Desirable
- Awareness of governance, risk or control environments
- Knowledge of wealth products (ISA, GIA, SIPP)
- Experience supporting projects or operations
Working in a data and AI-driven organisation

Important to know
- 37.5 hours per week (9:00am – 5:30pm)
- Based in Basildon
- We are unable to offer visa sponsorship
