Graduate Commercial Strategy Manager

Location: Milton Keynes (Hybrid)

Team Commercial / Advanced & Specialty Solutions

Reporting To Commercial Director, UK

Kick-start your career at the heart of a global technology leader. We’re looking for a motivated, analytical recent graduate to join our UK Commercial team in a pivotal strategic role. This opportunity offers direct exposure to senior leaders and the chance to work closely with teams across Sales, Vendor Management, Finance, and Marketing. If you're a recent graduate looking to begin your career in a fast-moving, growth-focused environment where you can influence decision-making and make an impact from day one, this could be the perfect opportunity.

About The Role

As our Graduate Commercial Strategy Manager, you’ll help support and develop commercial strategies that drive profitable growth, improve performance, and strengthen our position in the market. You’ll act as an important link between the Commercial Director and the wider business - including Sales, Vendor Management, Finance, and Marketing. Your job is to help turn strategic ideas into clear commercial plans, using data and insight to highlight opportunities, spot risks, and drive business-critical decision-making.

Key Responsibilities

  • Support the development of commercial strategies and help translate them into clear plans and actions.
  • Analyse data to identify growth opportunities across vendors, portfolios, and customer segments.
  • Help drive improvements in revenue, gross profit, product mix, and overall commercial performance.
  • Work with Finance to support accurate forecasting and ensure commercial plans are financially sound.
  • Contribute to margin improvement through better pricing discipline, rebate optimisation, and vendor funding analysis.
  • Collaborate with Vendor, Category, and Solutions teams to align business plans and provide insight for key meetings and reviews.
  • Convert strategic priorities into actionable sales plays, dashboards, and insights that support Sales execution.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
