Description

The Association for Financial Markets in Europe (AFME) is the voice of leading investment banks in Europe’s financial markets, providing expertise across a broad range of regulatory and capital markets issues. Our purpose is to advocate for deep and competitive, integrated capital markets in the EU, UK and globally, which support companies and investors, facilitating economic growth.

The AFME Communications & Marketing team supports AFME’s advocacy and thought leadership efforts by amplifying our key messages and positions in the media, at conferences and events, and through publications and other channels. The team is also responsible for marketing a busy agenda of AFME conferences and events.

We are looking for a Communications & Marketing Graduate to support the team across all areas of Communications and Marketing work, including public relations, media relations, events marketing, website management, and social media management. The team’s work is wide-ranging and interesting, touching on all areas of AFME advocacy, so it will give you a good understanding of how the financial services industry engages with policy makers and regulators, as well as an in-depth, integrated view of how the Communications and Marketing function operates.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
