Graduate Cover Supervisor – Liverpool
Liverpool
Full-time | Term Time Only | Immediate & September Starts Available

Milk Education is working in partnership with a welcoming and ambitious secondary school in Liverpool that is looking to appoint a Graduate Cover Supervisor.
This is an excellent opportunity for a recent graduate who is considering a future career in education and wants to gain hands-on experience within a secondary school setting. The school is looking for an enthusiastic and confident individual who can support students' learning and maintain a positive classroom environment during teacher absences.
No formal teaching qualification is required, making this role an ideal stepping stone into teaching, educational psychology, youth work or other education-based careers.
What you'll be doing:
- Supervising classes across KS3 and KS4 during teacher absence.
- Delivering pre-planned lessons and learning activities.
- Managing classroom behaviour in line with school policies.
- Ensuring students remain engaged and on task throughout lessons.
- Supporting students with their learning where appropriate.
- Building positive relationships with pupils and staff across the school.

- A degree in any subject.
- An interest in pursuing a career in education.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Confidence managing groups of young people.
- The ability to remain calm, professional and adaptable.
- Previous experience working with young people (desirable but not essential).
