Graduate Cover Supervisor

Milk Education is recruiting Graduate Cover Supervisors to work across Guildford and the surrounding areas. This is an excellent opportunity for graduates considering a career in education, teaching, or youth work, as well as those with previous classroom experience looking to develop their skills.
As a Graduate Cover Supervisor, you'll deliver pre-prepared lessons across a range of subjects, including English, Maths, Science, Humanities, Languages, PE, and more. No subject specialism is required, making this the perfect opportunity to gain broad classroom experience and build confidence working with young people.

The Role
As a Graduate Cover Supervisor, you will:
- Supervise pre-prepared lessons across a variety of subjects for Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4.
- Deliver lesson instructions left by the class teacher.
- Manage classroom behaviour and maintain a positive learning environment.
- Support students in completing the work set by the teacher.
- Encourage pupils to stay engaged, motivated, and focused throughout lessons.
- Build positive relationships with students and school staff.
- Follow school behaviour, safeguarding, and health & safety policies.

Requirements
To be successful, you'll need:
- A degree in any subject.

- Confidence leading groups of young people.
- A proactive, enthusiastic, and adaptable approach.
- A genuine passion for supporting students' learning and development.
- An enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to apply for one).
