About This Role

Do you have a passion for cutting-edge CPU design? Join Qualcomm’s world-class CPU team, where top architects and engineers develop the processors shaping tomorrow.

Build your formal verification skills to their fullest on some of the world’s most complex CPU designs.


Roles & Responsibilities

  • Work with the design team to articulate design intent, developing comprehensive verification plans and schedules.
  • Focus on end-to-end formal validation, from architecture to micro-architecture refinery.
  • Define formal verification architectures, create detailed test plans, and establish end-to-end formal sign-off environments for Qualcomm CPU components.
  • Ensure cross-team alignment on verification methodologies and timelines.

Minimum Experience Requirements

You must hold at least one of the following qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Mathematics, Science, Engineering, or related field, with relevant coursework in:

    • Computer architecture
    • Verilog HDL design
    • Formal methods
  • OR A PhD in the above fields (without formal industry experience requirements).


Skills & Qualifications

Education & Experience

Primary Criteria:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Science/Engineering + 2+ years of experience in:

    • ASIC design
    • Verification
    • Validation
    • Integration
    • OR
  • Master’s degree in Science/Engineering + 1+ year of above experience

    • OR
  • PhD in related fields (with relevant informal or practical industry experience).
