Graduate Data Consultant

We're looking for an ambitious Graduate Data Consultant to join a leading environmental consultancy that invests heavily in its people. If you've recently graduated with a strong numerical or environmental degree and want to launch a career in an impactful sector, this could be the opportunity you've been waiting for.

You'll receive first-class training, work alongside experienced consultants and analysts, and contribute to projects that support clients across sectors including infrastructure, energy, utilities, and the public sector. You'll develop the technical, analytical and consulting skills needed to become a trusted environmental data professional.

What You'll Be Doing

  • Analyse environmental and spatial datasets to identify trends, risks and opportunities
  • Produce reports, dashboards and data visualisations to support client decision-making
  • Assist with environmental impact assessments, sustainability reporting and regulatory compliance projects
  • Support data modelling, forecasting and performance analysis using a range of analytical tools
  • Present findings and recommendations to project teams and clients
  • Collaborate with environmental consultants
  • Build your technical and consulting skills through structured training and mentoring

We're Looking For

  • A minimum 2:1 degree in Maths, Physics, Environmental Science, Data Science, Statistics, Engineering or Computer Science
  • Strong Excel skills (Pivot Tables, XLOOKUP/VLOOKUP and data analysis)
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving ability
  • Strong communication and stakeholder engagement skills
  • A genuine interest in environmental sustainability and using data to solve real-world challenges
  • Strong customer service skills
  • Curious, ambitious and eager to build a career in environmental consulting
  • Experience with Power BI, SQL, R or Python is advantageous
