Graduate Data Engineer

The Role: Data Engineering Graduate
As a Data Engineering Graduate, you'll be an integral part of our Data Engineering team. From day one, you'll gain hands-on experience, taking on meaningful responsibility, and making a tangible impact.
This role is ideal for someone who:
- Loves building things that last
- Wants to learn how reliable data infrastructure is designed, built, and maintained at scale
Key Responsibilities
- Pipeline development: Help build and maintain data pipelines for:
- Ingesting data
- Cleaning and transforming it
- Moving data across systems
- Learning how reliable data flows are engineered
- Data integration: Support onboarding of new data sources by:
- Writing and testing logic to bring partner data into our platform
- Ensuring data is clean and consistent
- Transformation and modelling: Apply transformations to:
- Turn raw data into structured, trustworthy datasets
- Enable broader business use
- Monitoring and reliability: Help ensure ingestion pipelines stay running by:
- Flagging issues early
- Maintaining data integrity
- Quality assurance: Uphold trustworthy, actionable data through:
- Checking for anomalies
- Validating schemas and formats
- Automation and process improvement:streamline and scale processes by:
- Reducing manual work
- Increasing speed and accuracy
- Documentation: Capture and update:
- Data rules
- Pipeline logic
- Key processes for team knowledge

About You
To flourish in this role, you’ll have:

A Bachelor’s degree in:
- Computer science
- Software engineering
- Data science
- Mathematics
- A related field (or an equivalent qualification)

Some coding experience, preferably in:
- Python or SQL
- Either through studies, side projects, or self-teaching

A keen eye for detail and a passion for getting data right—mistakes can have significant downstream consequences

The ability to quickly adapt to new tools, platforms, and concepts

A proactive and inquisitive approach, enjoying problem-solving and team collaboration

Strong organisation and methodology, particularly in writing clear documentation

Comfort working in a fast-paced environment while maintaining accuracy

Fluent oral and written English skills

Above all, no ego! You’ll thrive by leading with curiosity and teamwork.
