Job Description
Netcompany is looking for Graduate Data Engineers to join us on a permanent basis to drive forward our delivery capability and deliver the optimum solutions to our clients. Based in Leeds you'll be joining a forward-thinking organisation that puts your personal development first.
As a Data Engineer at Netcompany, you have two roles; a Consultant and a Developer. As a consultant, you'll interact with our clients, work alongside a multi-disciplinary team and develop problem-solving skills. As a data engineer, you are keen to use new technologies and working with your team to develop solutions for our clients. We are a Microsoft Gold partner and use web-based languages and Microsoft technologies on our projects.
We believe that responsibility improves your abilities. Whether you have recently graduated from university or have many years of experience you get a lot of responsibility from the moment you start at Netcompany. You'll be working on some of the largest, most complex and technically innovative programmes and projects for some of the most prestigious organisations in the world.

Key Skills
- Graduate of a technical degree
- Passionate about data and eager to pick up new skills
- Logical thinker
- Able to communicate complex technical concepts to a variety of audiences
- Share ideas and knowledge
- Proactive and can take ownership
- You are interested in working on a variety of platforms which could include: Microsoft Stack - SQL Server, Analysis Services, Reporting SSRS, Power BI; Cloud technologies like Azure and AWS; PostgreSQL, NoSQL platforms, Oracle
- Must be willing to do UK-based travel for projects
- Must have the right to work in the UK
Desirable
- Ideally, some experience client-facing
Qualifications
- A graduate of Data Science BSc or similar discipline
- Degree 2:1 and above
